 
Experience Tkaronto, a film by Shane Belcourt, presented by Saagajiwe as part of Indigenous Education and Treaties Recognition week. The screening will take place on Friday, November 7th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Through the stories of Ray and Jolene, two Indigenous 30-somethings searching for a sense of belonging in the city after feeling a sense of disconnection from their indigenous heritage. Tkaronto offers a reflective and thought-provoking exploration of identity. The film follows their journeys as they navigate what it means to live as Indigenous people in the city, seeking connection, understanding, and a renewed sense of self.
